I am pretty happy with the over all quality, although it is a bit hollow on some tracks, and others turned out unusable, some were way better than expected, and these wild variations in quality has more to do with me messing with the settings as I was recording than anything else related to hardware or software.
I recorded the session in 20 min increments in Sonar 5 Producer edition then transfered them to my server at home as a raw 48K 24bit wave file. From there I added some light compression using a couple of parametric eq's inline with DBX 160xt compressors to try to bring out the vocals. and finally rendered them down to MP3 in Adobe Audition on my main frame workstation at the studio.
I still have like 3 hours of audio i need to sort through and render.
This was a great learning experiance for recording live sound with a new set up. and I know that the next one will turn out even better.
